Full description

Discover some of the best Bermondsey breweries on this tour in London. Hear about the history of brewing in the area and the modern day ‘craft beer’ boom that started thanks to The Kernel Brewery in 2009.

You’ll enjoy an expert led guided walk with tours and tastings on route from the top of the Bermondsey Beer Mile at Southwark Brewery, to the end at Fourpure Basecamp.

Enjoy tastings of different beers styles on your journey and discover what goes into making great beer at a number of taprooms on route. Tour the equipment and hear talks at Southwark Brewery and Partizan Brewery as part of your day.

When we started this tour there were a lot less breweries and its impossible to visit all in a day now however we try to offer a fully rounded experience from traditional cask beer to more modern craft beer breweries.

We are proud to support as many independent businesses as possible. This is becoming less recently due to mergers and acquisitions in the beer industry and you’ll learn a bit more about this on the tour.

We currently visit 5 different stops and these are:

  • Southwark Brewery
  • Anspach & Hobday
  • Affinity Brewery
  • Partizan Brewery
  • Fourpure

We currently have a tour with the team at Southwark Brewery and later a closer look at the brewing kit at Partizan. Please note that stops can change depending on the day visited due to external factors such as special events taking place.

At these, and other stops we will taste a number of different beer styles on the route and hear about the history of brewing in the area, and at individual breweries in modern times.
