London has a fantastic pub culture and some of these establishments have been trading for over 400 years. Our pub tours take in the hidden gems, literary haunts, pubs with a nefarious story and those providing both traditional and new-age craft beer experiences.
Each week AleHunters will focus on different areas of London and groups of up to 10 will be personally be guided by beer sommelier Paul Davies around 4 classic pubs enabling the inquisitive traveller to easily engage with my city’s unique pubs.

Paul is a certified Beer Sommelier and World Beer Awards Judge, and has been conducting beer tours and tastings for many years. Over the years he has have amassed a huge amount of knowledge of the City’s pubs, craft breweries and taprooms, and built up a network of contacts with some of the key people involved in London’s vibrant beer culture. He has also amassed an intensive knowledge of the best of Belgium’s breweries and beer festivals. He visits Belgium frequently, developing contacts within the industry to ensure that my guests enjoy the best Belgium beer experiences possible.
In a previous life, He was a member of the Quality team at Fuller’s, London’s oldest brewery. He has also delivered brewery tours at its Griffin Brewery in Chiswick, welcoming visitors from the UK and overseas. He has hosted tutored beer tastings for many years, and have a thorough knowledge of beer – from grain to glass. Paul looks forward to sharing his knowledge, enthusiasm and experience with you.
